SCera Application Prototype

Welcome to SCera Version 1.3, USC's portal to electronic research administration services and information. This portal was launched to assist researchers and research administration staff members with various aspects of managing sponsored projects. Version 1.3 of SCera includes:
- A limited release of eCert (effort reporting) application to specific school(s)
- Faster loading of your accounts in the My Accounts application. Filters have been added to select which accounts will load based on program code, PI name or status of account.
Version 1.2 of SCera incorporates some of the input from the beta testing phase including:
- Enhancing the view capabilities for master/satellite accounts in MyAccounts application
- Enhancing C&G Reports to display new subdivision names
- Enhancing Period Reports to display uniform column labels
Version 1.1 of SCera incorporates some of the input from the beta testing phase including:
- Addition of help text and contact information for C&G reports and Period reports
- Reposting the FYE07 Period Reports
- Posting last month's Period Reports
- Adding MyAccounts downtime schedule
- Adding filters on MyAccounts by PI name and Program Code
- Adding object codes and short description to MyAccounts agency restrictions
- Allowing password reminder feature to accept both 7 and 10 digit ID
This first page of the portal provides links to various USC research administration departments' websites. It is a gateway to the rich resources and information provided by departments such as Office of Compliance, Office of the Vice Provost for Research Advancement, and the Department of Contracts and Grants to name a few.
Also on SCera homepage, you may self-register for login access to information behind the gateway page. Once you self-register and assign yourself a login and password, you will be able to access information pertaining to the sponsored projects you are currently working on.
